Career Online High School

Safety Harbor Public Library is offering qualified community members an opportunity to earn an accredited high school diploma and credentialed career certificate through Career Online High School, a program brought to you by the Florida State Library and Gale, part of Cengage Learning. Career Online High School is designed to reengage adults into the education system and prepare for entry into post-secondary education or the workforce.

Home Delivery

Safety Harbor and local residents who are unable to get to the library due to illness, disability, or injury maybe eligible for this program. Library Home Delivery patrons can call to request information or ask for specific materials to be delivered. All library materials will be checked-out to a PPLC library card, delivered to your door, and picked up for return by a library representative. SHINE(Serving Health Insurance Needs of Elders) Medicare Counseling

Trained volunteers can assist you with your Medicare, Medicaid, and health insurance questions. SHINE services are free, unbiased, and confidential. SHINE counseling is available on Thursdays, by appointment. Sign-up online.


Medicare Plan Finder Training

Saturday, November 12, 1:00 - 3:00pm

SHINE volunteers provide instruction and guidance on using Medicare's Plan Finder (www.medicare.gov/find-a-plan). Registration and basic computer skills are required. Seating is limited. Call 727-724-1525 ext. 4107 for more information or sign-up online.

AARP Driver Safety Course

Thursday, December 1, 10:00am - 4:30pm

Gain the skills and tools you need to drive safely on today's roads. All age drivers are welcome. Registration is required. Sign-up online.
