[ARCHIVED] Safety Harbor Haiti Relief Effort

On Tuesday, January 19th the Safety Harbor City Commission asked the employees and residents of Safety Harbor to donate funds to the ongoing Haiti Relief and Development effort. The City will match all donations up to a total of $10,000. All donations will be sent to the American Red Cross National Chapter in Washington, D.C. and designated for the Haiti Relief and Development Effort.

Donations must be in the form of a check made payable to the American Red Cross. No cash donations or checks payable to the City of Safety Harbor can be accepted.

The American Red Cross Haiti Relief and Development Fund supports emergency relief and recovery efforts to help those people affected by the earthquakes in Haiti. For more information on this effort please visit www.redcross.org.

Donations can be dropped of at City Hall, 750 Main Street, through February 26. For more information contact Public Communications Manager Brad Purdy at (727)724-1555 ext. 404.
