The City of Safety Harbor will begin considering the approval of a new Downtown Master Plan beginning this month. On June 11, the Planning and Zoning Board will consider the plan at its regularly scheduled meeting at 7:30 p.m. in the City Hall Commission Chambers. The plan will then be reviewed by the City Commission at a workshop before being place on the Commission agenda for approval. The Downtown Master Plan is the culmination of an intensive 3-year citizen-driven effort to establish a common community understanding and vision. Business owners, residents and property owners are encouraged to review the plan and provide public feedback during the upcoming meetings. Meeting times and dates will be posted on the City’s calendar once they become available.
