Introduction to Digital Resources

Did you know you have access to thousands of e-books, audiobooks, music, movies, magazines and other resources online through your library?


Over the next several weeks, we will be introducing you to some of our e-Library resources. This week is an overview of Zinio, which provides access to some great magazines in digital editions.

With Zinio, you have free access to digital magazines on art, entertainment, food, home, sports, travel, and more. Many popular titles are featured, including Vanity Fair, Men's Health, and National Geographic, to name a few. Magazines are available to download anytime, and read on your computer, tablet or smartphone.

To get started, go here to set up an online account with your library card. This will allow you to check out digital magazines from our collection immediately and read on your computer. If you want to read titles on your mobile device, you can download and install the Zinio app. When first using the app, choose PPLC to access our magazine collection.

There are no due-dates on the materials you check out, and you can download an unlimited number of titles. There's no need to visit the library to access titles from our digital collection. Best of all, access to all of these great titles are free with your library card! Visit Zinio to set up your account, download and read.
