For single-family homes, garbage is collected once a week - either Monday or Tuesday and recycling is collected either Thursday or Friday, depending on your address. Recycling, yard waste and appliances are collected one time per week.
2.
When should I place my garbage can, yardwaste or recycling bin at the curb?
All items to be collected should be at the curb no later than 6:30 AM the day of collection. Please remove containers from the curb by 7:00 PM on your collection day.

Place containers within 2 feet of the curb with the handle facing your home, or away from the curb. Be sure to place your container at least three feet away from any obstructions.
4.
Where can I take paint and other chemicals?
To protect the environment and ensure the safety of our residents, the City does not accept household hazardous waste for curbside collection. For more information on household chemical collection, contact 727-724-1550.
