Wee Discoveries: (Ages 2-5) Thursday, August 14, 10:30 am. Come play with age-appropriate discovery stations designed to encourage creativity in learning with STEM goals in mind. Adult participation required.
Homework Help: (Grades 2-8) Mondays and Tuesdays, 4:00 - 6:00 pm, starting September 2. Bright Futures Scholarship students will be at the library to tutor and assist students with their homework. Tutoring is provided first come, first served.
National Grandparent's Day Craft: (Ages 3-12) Saturday, September 6, 11:00 am - 4:00 pm, and Sunday, September 7, 2:00 - 4:00 pm. Make a card for your grandparents! Free materials available.
Family Nutrition Class: (Parent or caregiver with child) Friday, September 12, 3:30 pm. Join Mrs. Crystal from Moxie Nutrition for a fun lesson on nutrition for kids. Enjoy free smoothies!
Music & Movement: Hip-Hop Dance: (Ages 4-9) Friday, September 12, 4:00 pm. An introductory hip-hop class taught by a certified instructor from Body Altitudes. This program will continue through December at which time the dancers can perform in a recital! Registration is required.
Tuesday Crafternoon: (Ages 4-12) Tuesday, September 16, 3:30 pm. Make a fall-themed craft at the library! Registration required.
Family Video Gaming: "Play and Learn" Workshop: (Ages 6-18) Saturday, September 27, 1:00 - 4:00 pm. Children and adults are encouraged to learn and play video games together in this event sponsored by M&M Games. Learn about video game troubleshooting, rating systems, and much more. There will be plenty of time to play some of your favorite video games too!
Book-a-Trip: Culture and Crafts for Kids: (Ages 4-10) Thursday, September 30, 4:00 pm. Explore the culture of Spain through crafts, games, music and food. Registration required.
Starlight Puppet Show: (Ages 10 and under) Tuesday, September 30, 7:00 pm. Come in your pajamas and snuggle down with your favorite blanket or stuffed animal for 30 minutes of puppet stories.

Story Yoga: (Ages 3-10) Wednesday, September 3, 4:00 pm. Kids can enjoy fun animal and nature poses, partner games, songs, interactive stories, music and movement! The benefits of yoga for children include: improved flexibility, concentration, patience, balance, and muscle strength. Don't forget to wear stretchy clothes and please bring a mat or beach towel. Family Musical Yoga: (All ages) Friday, August 15 & September 19, 4:00 pm.

Lego League: (Ages 3 years and up) Saturdays, 3:00 – 4:30 pm and 3:00 - 4:30 pm the fourth Wednesday of the month. Bring your friends and join us for creative building with Legos.
Zumba Kids: (Ages 4-12) On break during August. Will resume September 18, 4:00 pm.
Boys and Girls are invited to Shake, Wiggle, and Giggle during this crazy cool dance fitness program, with Instructor Tiffany Palmer Godfrey. Kids will be introduced to World Rhythms such as Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, Reggaeton, Hip-hop and more. Parents love Zumba Kids because it increases their child’s focus, self-confidence, coordination, and metabolism, and kids love it because it’s FUN!

Tail Waggin' Tutors
A Dog is a READER’S Best Friend! These dogs are specially trained by Therapy Dogs, International
to listen patiently while a child practices reading and gains more confidence. Each reader will earn a Pawsome Reader Certificate!
