Second Annual Community Mosaic Fundraiser:
Saturday May 2, 10:00am to 4:00pm
For a $25.00 donation, families, groups, or individuals can create a 12’’x12” tile. Tiles will be grouted after the event and returned to the library for participants to pick up and to take home. Artist Heather Richardson will assist the public in creating a creative, unique piece.  All materials provided, but you may bring flat pieces of tile or anything meaningful to incorporate in your personal mosaic. Please sign up for up for a specific time slot by April 30 at www.safetyharborlibraryfoundation.org.

Blues in the Library with Bodie Valdez:  Sunday, May 17, 2:00 pm.  Join us for blues musician and acoustic soloist Bodie Valdez, Suncoast Blues Society's 2014 International Blues Challenge solo/duo winner.  He was recently featured as the opening act at the Clearwater Sea-Blues Festival in Coachman Park.  

Steel Magnolias

Basic Savings and Investing: Wednesday, April 29, 1:00 - 3:00 pm.  Florida Master Money Mentors will encourage you to create goals, learn to save, build an emergency fund, and discover the basics of investing.  Sign up online.

Introduction to Rainwater Harvesting - Rain Barrels: Thursday, April 30, 6:30 pm.  Learn how to save rainfall in a recycled plastic drum for use in your landscaping.  Each attendee will receive instructions on how to build and install a rain barrel. Sign up online

The Power is Yours!: Thursday, May 14, 6:30 pm.  Learn simple strategies to reduce energy loss in your home from the Pinellas Energy Efficiency Project.  Participants will receive a free insulated tote bag, LED flashlight, and more! Sign up online.

ESOL Conversation Club: Tuesdays, May 19 & 26, 4:00-5:30 pm.  Join others in an informal setting and practice your English conversation skills.  Different topics of discussion will be covered each week to help you learn how to communicate in everyday situations.
