2015 Chair-ity Fundraiser
The Safety Harbor Library Foundation is seeking artists of all ages and anyone creative to donate and decorate a chair of any type for their Chair-ity Fundraiser scheduled for Friday, April 17 in conjunction with National Library Week.  Finished chairs will be on display in the library March 20 through April 17.  Chairs are due back on or before Friday, March 20.  For more information visit the Foundation's website.

Master Gardener Class - Florida Friendly Landscaping:  Thursday, March 12, 6:30 pm.   Brian Niemann, Florida-Friendly Landscaping Extension Agent, will familiarize you with the Nine Principles of Florida-Friendly Landscaping.  Registration Required.   

Friends of the Library Book Sale:  Saturday, March 14, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm.  Books, CDs, DVDs, and more.  All items in great condition, most only $1.00!  Visit the FOL website for more information.

Safety Harbor International Film Series:  Sunday, March 15, 1:30 pm.  Margin Call (2011).  An analyst unlocks information that could prove to be the downfall of his firm.  As decisions are made, the lives of all are brought to the brink of disaster.  Rated R.

Words & Wine Book Club: Monday, March 16, 6:30 pm.  Join us for our book club held at Whistle Stop Bar and Grill, 915 Main Street. Books & Bagels Book Club: Tuesday, March 17, 10:30 am.  Join us for our morning book club at the library.  We'll have coffee and bagels as we discuss March's title, Secret Keeper, by Kate Morton.  Limited copies are available at the library.  Monthly reading list.

Workshops
ESOL Conversation Club: Tuesdays, March 4, 4:00-5:30 pm.  Join others in an informal setting and practice your English conversation skills.  Different topics of discussion will be covered each week to help you learn how to communicate in every day situations.

Strategic Resume Writing: Thursday, March 5, 6:30 pm.  Update your resume with Bruce Hadburg.  The different parts of a resume will be discussed, with ways to strategically improve to create a successful resume.  Bruce Hadburg has experience in high-tech marketing, finance, strategy management consulting, and market research.

Bus - Florida Licensing on Wheels:  Thursday, March 12, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm.  A convenient method to renew a driver license, obtain a replacement driver license, change a name or address, get an identification card, renew a vehicle registration and purchase a specialty license plate or update critical safety services such as emergency contact information registration.  No written driving tests.  Bring required documents: www.gathergoget.com.

Creative Writers Group & Story Circle: Wednesday, March 18, 6:00 pm.  Facilitators Jan Golden and Sheila McNaughton provide lessons, suggestions for topics, and gentle feedback.  This group writes, shares, and encourages each other to preserve their life experiences.

Tobacco Free Florida - Tools to Quit: Saturday, March 21, 10:00 am.  This smoking cessation program provides guidance on preparing a quitting plan, end cravings, discusses physical and emotional symptoms, and provides free cessation products.  Registration required.
