March 2024 Newsletter
It's March
2024 and your Safety Harbor Public Library is excited to continue bringing
you great programs even as we undergo construction. As a result, many library
programs will be held in different locations throughout the community. Please
note any location changes as indicated in the attached newsletter and feel free
to call the library at (727) 724-1525 x 4112 for further information.
Youth (Ages 0-18) - Many youth programs will be moving to the Art Park just behind the library - join us there for Ukulele
Sing-Along on March 16 and Farmer Minor
and Daisy Pig Story Time on March 19. Kids
Cooking to Go this month is Bunnies in the Garden Dirt Cups, available for pick up March 18 - 23. Tweens can paint a tote bag during Tween Craft in the Art Park on March 5, discuss this month's title during Tween Graphic Novel
Book Club on March 19, sample some new flavors during International Soda Tasting on March 20, and let 'em rip during Beyblades Club on March 25. Teens, come watch Ouran High School Host
Club during Teen Anime and Manga Club on March 6, create a magical domicile with Teen
Take Home Craft - Fairy Houses March 11-16, sip around the globe during International Soda Tasting on March 20, and get ready with a NEW Digital SAT Reading and Writing
Workshop on March 23. Bring the whole family to make some art during ICRE8 - Art Class on March 4, then everyone's invited to a Family Self-Defense Workshop on March 13.
Adults - Visit the library from March 1 - 30 to view our Mini
Art on Canvas on display! Buy tickets - $1 each or 6 for $5 - for your chance to win your favorite artwork. Check out our new Silent Book Club on March 7 - enjoy time dedicated to reading of your choice with light socializing if you like. The whole family is invited to a Family
Self-Defense Workshop on March 13, held at Waterfront Park. Join us for The Great Puzzle Exchange on March 14 - drop off jigsaw puzzles at the library March 1 - 13 in exchange for tickets that can be used on new-to-you puzzles at the event. Get ready for the new season with our Spring Plant Swap on March 23 - bring plant(s) in a container to give away, labelled with name, light, soil requirements, and any other information needed to exchange for new plants and entry into a prize drawing.
