Children's materials have been moved to other areas of the library and can still be checked out, and we have new areas for families to read and relax. Programs are now either being held off-site, or in other locations within the library. Please check the calendar for details.

Celebrate Earth Day with stories, songs, and crafts in the Art Park with Ms. Harriet. Bring a blanket or yoga mat to sit on. Weather permitting.

ABC's of Agriculture

Tuesday, April 23, 10:30 am.
Ages 2-5. This new children's program is about raising awareness about the awesomeness of agriculture! Each week we’ll discuss how plants are everywhere, how they're grown, and how we can try to grow things at home using scraps from veggies or seeds.

Tuesday, April 23, 5:30 pm.
Paint a terracotta flowerpot in the Art Park. Weather permitting! Registration required.

Story

Story Tots in the Art Park

Wednesday, April 24, 10:30 am.
Ages 19 months to 4 years.  Young ones will develop early literacy skills as they participate in an interactive story time. This week's Story Tots will take place outside in the Art Park, weather permitting. For your comfort, bring a blanket to sit on.

Teen Rainbow Room

Wednesday, April 24, 5:00 pm.
A monthly hangout for LGBTQ+ teens and teen allies. There are snacks and optional crafts. Grades 6-12 welcome. We will be making friendship bracelets!

Homework Help

Wednesday, April 24, 3:00-6:00 pm.
Students grades K-8 can get homework help from Teen volunteers at the library. First come, first served. Sign in at the children's desk when you arrive.

Baby & Me Story Time

Friday, April 26, 10:30 am.
Ages 18 months and under. Enjoy special time with your baby while you listen to stories, sing songs, learn knee bouncers, and enjoy bubbles. This program will be held outside in the Art Park, weather permitting.

Pawsome readers

Pawsome Readers

Saturday, April 27, 10:30 am
Young readers can practice their reading skills with specially trained therapy dogs. Located in the Youth Area inside the library.
