It's gonna be May! We hope you'll join us this month for some exciting programs and events. Please note any location changes as indicated and feel free to call the library at (727) 724-1525 x 4112 for further information.

 

Youth (Ages 0-18) - Our hardworking youth staff is taking a break in May to prepare for Summer 2024 when Adventure Begins at Your Library! You can look forward to Story Time in the Art Park on May 1 and 8, Pawsome Readers on May 11, and ICRE8 - Art Class on May 13. You can also register for one of our reading programs on Beanstack and visit the library to check out this month's StoryWalk!

 

Adults - Tampa Bay Ukulele Society will host Ukulele Beginner Workshops on May 1 and May 8, our new Silent Book Club meets May 2, the St. Petersburg Sax Quartet will be in concert on May 9, and another offering of the AARP Safe Driver course will be held May 23-24.

ESOL/Citizenship Classes

ESOL Conversation Club meets weekly for conversational English practice on Wednesdays at 10 am. Different topics are covered each week to improve communicating in everyday situations. Citizenship Class meets immediately after at 11:30 am to prepare students for naturalization and the U.S. citizenship exam. Ancestry - Library Edition

With your library card, you can access Ancestry - Library Edition for free while inside the library. This robust database includes census records, immigration information, military records, and other vital information for genealogical research. Visit our e-library page for more information.
