For safety purposes, the Children's Wing is not available during construction.
Children's materials have been moved to other areas of the library and can still be checked out, and we have new areas for families to read and relax. Programs are now either being held off-site, or in other locations within the library. Please check the calendar for details.
Summer Reading: Adventure Begins at Your Library

Library Card Travels Contest
June 3 - August 3 Adventure begins at your library! Take a picture with your PPLC library card wherever you go this summer! Photographs may be taken near or far. Please no people in the focus of your photograph, although people in the background are fine. Submit your entry here.
Teen Surprise Book Give Away
Monday, June 3 - Saturday, June 15 Teens can come into the library to pick up a book to keep. The book covers and titles will not be revealed, so the book you get will be a surprise! While supplies last. One book per teen. Due to supplies being limited, parents and guardians cannot pick up books for their teen. Teens must be present to pick up their books. Ages 13-18.
Teen Anime & Manga Club
Tuesday, June 11, 4:30 pm. Casual meet-up to discuss anime and manga while enjoying snacks. This month, we will be watching Assassination Classroom and making anime-themed perler bead crafts. All anime shown is rated TV-14 unless otherwise specified.
Story Tots
Wednesday, June 12, 10:30 am. Held at the Harborside Church. Young ones will develop early literacy skills as they participate in an interactive story time and take home craft.
Baby & Me Story Time
Friday, June 14, 10:30 am. Enjoy special time with your baby while you listen to stories, sing songs, learn knee bouncers, twinkle lights, and enjoy bubbles! Held at the Harborside Church.
Pawsome Readers - Beginning Reading Program
Saturday, June 15, 10:30 am. Young readers can practice their reading skills with specially trained therapy dogs. Located in the Youth Area inside the library.
