Represent Safety Harbor on the Pinellas Opportunity Council
The City of Safety Harbor’s City Commission desires to appoint a Safety Harbor resident to serve as a volunteer representative on the Pinellas Opportunity Council, Inc. Board of Directors. You can join other members of the POC in making a difference in the lives of Pinellas County residents. The appointee will fill the City of Safety Harbor’s board seat, while representing the City Commission.

- The POC meets virtually at 4:00 p.m. every other month on the last Tuesday beginning in January.
- Members must be available to regularly attend meetings and any training sessions.
- Seats are 5-year terms but require annual reappointment.
The Pinellas Opportunity Council’s mission is to help alleviate conditions of poverty, revitalize local communities and promote self-sufficiency by mobilizing resources to develop and implement programs that deliver an array of services to address various individual, family and community needs.
