For safety purposes, the Children's Wing is not available during construction.
Children's materials have been moved to other areas of the library and can still be checked out, and we have new areas for families to read and relax. Programs are now either being held off-site, or in other locations within the library. Please check the calendar for details.

Library Card Travels Contest
June 3 - August 3 Adventure begins at your library! Take a picture with your PPLC library card wherever you go this summer! Photographs may be taken near or far. Please no people in the focus of your photograph, although people in the background are fine. Submit your entry here.
Terrific Tuesday - Gabie Bus
Tuesday, July 9, 11:00 am. Climb on board the interactive GABIE bus and enter a world of STEM fun where students learn about their state's Agriculture. After exiting the bus, participate in two STEM activity stations outside the bus in the Art Park. Ages 5-12. Registration is required.
Teen Anime & Manga Club
Tuesday, July 9, 4:30 pm. Casual meet-up to discuss anime and manga while enjoying snacks. This month, we will be watching Black Butler. Grades 6-12.
Story Tots
Wednesday, July 10, 10:30 am. Ages 19 months to 4 years. Young ones will develop early literacy skills as they participate in an interactive story time. Held at Harborside Church. The theme this week is Teddy Bear Picnic so feel free to bring your favorite teddy bear!
Baby & Me Story Time
Friday, July 12, 10:30 am. Held at Harborside Church. Enjoy special time with your baby while you listen to stories, sing songs, learn knee bouncers, twinkle lights, and enjoy bubbles!
Virtual College Applications Workshop
Saturday, July 13, 4:00 pm. This is a virtual event held over Zoom. During this virtual workshop, students will learn about filling out the CommonApp and writing a compelling personal statement. Recommended materials: pen, pencil, highlighter, laptop or notebook. Parents and students are welcome to attend. Registration is required.
