Children's materials have been moved to other areas of the library and can still be checked out, and we have new areas for families to read and relax. Programs are now either being held off-site, or in other locations within the library. Please check the calendar for details.

Right in the Feels: YA Book Sign Up

February 1-14.
Teens can register to pick up a free copy of Amanda DeWitt’s newest book, The Underwood Tapes to receive at the author talk on February 16. Registration required. Books must be picked up at the event. This event will be held at Safety Harbor Art and Music Center on Sunday, February 16, 4:30 pm.

Homework Help

Monday, February 3, 3:00 - 6:00 pm.
Teen volunteers will be in the library to help with homework. First come, first served. Grades K-8.

Story Tots

Wednesday, February 5, 10:30 am.
Young ones will develop early literacy skills as they participate in an interactive story time followed by a take & make craft.  During library construction, this program is located at Harborside Church, Room 119.

anime

Teen Anime & Manga Club

Wednesday, February 5, 5:00 pm.
Watch anime, discuss manga, eat snacks and do an optional craft. This month, we will be watching Kaiju No. 8. and decorating paper fans.

Pop-Up Playtime

Thursday, February 6, 10:00 am.
Free play with baby/toddler/preschool toys set out in the library Youth Zone.

Baby & Me Story Time

Friday, February 7 10:30 am.
Enjoy special time with your baby while you listen to stories, sing songs, learn knee bouncers, twinkle lights, and enjoy bubbles! Ages birth - 18 months. This library program is held at Harborside Church, room 117. Downstairs at the end of the hallway.

Hygiene Basics Program with Troop 937

Saturday, February 8, 2:00 pm.
Girl Scout Troop 937 is teaching about hygiene for their silver award, which is a project that enables Girl Scouts to improve their community. We are holding a program that makes learning about hygiene fun. Everyone will get to make their own hygiene kit, play games, and have some snacks. A box will be available in the library to collect hygiene donations starting January 25th. Ages 8-14.
