Little Free Libraries promote literacy and the love of reading by building free book exchanges worldwide. Little Free Libraries build a sense of community as we share skills, creativity and wisdom across generations. Stop by and take a book that catches your fancy. Return and bring books to contribute when you can. Little Free Library books are always a gift and never for sale. Special thanks to the Friends of the Library for funding the registration of our Little Free Libraries.
In April 2014, the Safety Harbor Public Library decided to join the global Little Free Library movement and put calls out to the community to create Little Free Libraries. The response was positive. Special thanks to residents Chuck and Karla Lynde for their help with this project and supporting literacy and reading in our City.
