The Land Development Code (LDC) establishes permitted and conditional uses (i.e., what activities can take place) by zoning district and sets forth regulations and standards relating to how those uses may physically develop on a specific piece of property.
Purpose
The LDC is adopted to:
Guide future growth, development, and redevelopment
Implement the adopted Comprehensive Plan through a set of specific and detailed land development provisions
Maintain and improve the quality of life in the city
Promote and protect the public health, safety and general welfare of the residents and property owners of the City of Safety Harbor
